Week 11 Results with Team-by-Team Breakdown

Another pretty damn good week (best of the year, actually, with the spread coming in at 11-5 and the o/u coming in at 10-5-1. All of which means my horrendous record is following the tides of the averages and settling back in exactly where it should be for someone with zero skill: .500 across the board. Week Four Results

Anytime I've ever ordered Chicken McNuggets, when it comes to sauce-picking time, I've always gone with standard ketchup. Why? I'll tell you why. Because there's something unsettling about a dipping sauce that can be both sweet and sour at the same time. You know, kind of like this week's results.

The sweet: 9-4 on the spread.
The sour: 4-9 on the over/under.
For an overall 13-13 tally which, I suspect is what happens when the sweet blends with the sour to come off, well, neutral.

Week Two results

Well, it's still not all that good, but it's much better than last week. On the spread, I posted a 6-8-1 and a winning 8-7 on the over unders. Bringing the year-to-date tallies to ...

Spread: 14-16-1
O/U: 11-20
Total: 25-36-1

Like I said, not so good. It's kind of like dropping a ball on the one-yard line when you should have a TD, y'know?

Week Two Picks

So, yeah, Week One was horrendous, what with the 8-8 tally on the spread and an unconscionable 3-13 on the over/unders (Got the spread best bet right and the O/U, obviously, wrong). I'd recommend picking against my picks on the O/Us actually. Here's the Week Two lines (as of 12 p.m. Thursday and the picks).

The results through Sunday night...

... can be summed up in one word: Atrocious.
Or in two: Very atrocious.
On the line, Hick's Picks were 7-7 and on the over/under, and a whoppingly bad 3-11, for a Week One, pre-MNF tally of 10-18. Perhaps tonight's games will bring it to a reasonable 14-18, but don't hold your amusement-only breath on it.

The deeper results through Sunday night...

Winners in bold. Losers aren't.
